Our company was formed in 1971 by Don Rettig, Jeff Rettig, Phil Rettig, Harold Rettig, and John Frommer when they purchased two existing Findlay, Ohio businesses: Bruce B. Ryan & Son and Concrete Block & Supply. In 1975, we grew again when we purchased Arnold Building Supply and consolidated our operations to where our Findlay store, showroom, and yard is located today. In 2009, we acquired Prairie Builders Supply in Fremont, Ohio to better serve our customers in the Lake Erie area.       

From our two locations in Findlay and Fremont and throughout our 50+ year history, our focus has always been on excellence in service, quality products, and loyalty to our customers. Whether it is an architect, designer, residential builder, commercial builder, landscape contractor, or Do-it-Yourself (DIY) customer, we are committed to helping them in every way we can so they can complete their projects, which may include homes, outdoor living areas, commercial buildings, schools, churches, and university buildings. 

While the core of our business is masonry and hardscape products, including brick, stone, aggregates, and block, we also supply drywall, steel doors, and other types of building products.
